Gugulethu-Sofia Mbatha or Gugu Mbatha Raw is an actor British actress who gained recognition for her performance in 'Doctor Who.' This British television science fiction series shown by the BBC. Gugu had a massive success on the show, as she played Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. Gugu's viewers loved her openness and was well in the process of establishing a long-lasting acting career. She's appeared in a number of British television and stage shows. Cancer of the breast was diagnosed in the year 1989. Handler died 10 years later after fighting cancer. Handler is a Reform Jew Her father was Jewish. Handler had a pleasant, healthy childhood living in a safe neighborhood. She moved from the city of her birth to Los Angeles when she was 19, to pursue acting. Handler had to turn into an actress in order to make ends meet. Handler took the decision to concentrate on stand-up when she was 21, when she recognized her story telling abilities. Handler began her stand-up career joining the only female Oxygen cast, which featured in a tv show named Girls Behaving Badly. The show was renowned for its secret camera and humorous jokes.
